Here is all the drum lesson information you need to know including cost, scheduling, makeups, and cancellations.
I offer beginning to advanced snare drum, drum set and band percussion lessons in my studio or in your home four days a week, Monday thru Thursday. I am also available for drum clinics and master classes at schools, workshops, and other events.
COST
Lesson fees are $25.00 per 30 minutes of instruction. Most beginners and younger students attend a 1/2 hour lesson ($25) once a week, however, older students and adults can handle and often request a 1-hour lesson ($50). Master Class lessons can be anywhere from 1 – 2 hours or more ($50 – $100) in length.
Lesson fees are due with the first lesson of the month or by the 7th day of the month, for the entire month in advance. Simply multiply the fee by the number of days of the month on which your lesson falls to determine the amount payable. Make checks out to Jim E. Anderson or Andersong Music. Any check returned by your bank will result in a $30.00 bank fee. Payments not received by the 7th of the month will incur A $20.00Late Payments fee.
SCHEDULING
When you contact me to set up your lesson plan, we will agree on a day and time that is both convenient for you and available in my schedule. I will then and block that lesson slot out and reserve it for you for the month.
MAKEUPS
Students are responsible for being in the lesson room at agreed upon day and time. A paid lesson reserves the agreed upon time of instruction. Therefore students who are no-shows, late 10 minutes or more, or give less than 24-hour notice may incur a charged lesson. Two missed lessons in a month may result in loss of your time slot. Illness, school holidays or field trips are the only excused absences. I will credit a lesson fee to a future date, or arrange a make-up lesson with a minimum 24 hours notice of cancellation. Every effort will be made to offer a make-up lesson if there is an opening in the schedule.
CANCELLATIONS
Students must notify the instructor of planned vacation from lessons, and intention to discontinue lessons two weeks in advance. The instructor may cancel instruction at any time and arrange refunds if applicable.
